ATX 3.0 and PCIe Gen 5.0 ready (compatible with ATX 3.1)
The AE850PM PG5 can sustain power excursions of up to 3 times the GPU power and 2 times the total power. It's fully compliant with the Intel ATX 3.0 standard, supporting up to 200% power excursions and achieving 70% efficiency at low loads. Additionally, the included high-quality, native 16-pin cable ensures compatibility with PCIe Gen 5.0 graphics cards, delivering up to 600 watts of power.

80 PLUS Platinum certified
80 Plus Platinum certified ensures to deliver 92% efficiency at 50% load. The better power efficiency leads to less power waste, less heat and less fan noise.

100% Japanese capacitors
All capacitors are high quality Japanese capacitors, to produce the efficient performance and to ensure the longer reliability.

---

120mm smart Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fan
High-performance Fluid Dynamic Bearing fan uses oil film shock absorption technology to effectively reduce noise, making it quieter than conventional sleeve fan and providing more than twice the lifespan. In addition, the fan speed is adjusted according to the automatic power detection and stops when the system is idle or under low load (less than 50% load).

Compact design
GIGABYTE's engineering expertise in heat dissipation and material selection has shrunk the length of the power supply to an impressive 140 mm, ensuring compatibility with even space-constrained chassis.
